關陳玉愛夫人 Yuk Oi Kwun
November 15, 1947 - June 10, 2014
Yuk Oi Kwun (b. Chan) was born in Hong Kong on November 15, 1947 on a small farm in the village of Aberdeen. She lived there with her parents, sister and three brothers until the age of 18 years when she married Pak Hunt Kwun. They had 4 children and the family emigrated to Toronto, Canada in the summer of 1971. She has called Canada her home ever since.
Mrs. Kwun was an accomplished seamstress who learned her skill from the early age of 13 and worked in the clothing manufacturing industry for over 20 years. During her tenure at JJ Walsh Co. she met many of her dearest friends.
In May of 2013 she was diagnosed with metastatic cancer of the kidney. She lost her battle with cancer and passed away at home on the morning of June 10th 2014.
She is survived by her husband Pak Hunt Kwun, four children and seven grandchildren.
