<div itemprop="description">Yuk Oi Kwun (b. Chan) was born in Hong Kong on November 15, 1947 on a small farm in the village of Aberdeen. She lived there with her parents, sister and three brothers until the age of 18 years when she married Pak Hunt Kwun. &nbsp;They had 4 children and the family emigrated to Toronto, Canada in the summer of 1971. She has called Canada her home ever since. <br /> <br />Mrs. Kwun was an accomplished seamstress who learned her skill from the early age of 13 and worked in the clothing manufacturing industry for over 20 years. &nbsp;During her tenure at JJ Walsh Co. she met many of her dearest friends. <br /> <br />In May of 2013 she was diagnosed with metastatic cancer of the kidney. She lost her battle with cancer and passed away at home on the morning of June 10th 2014. <br /> <br />She is survived by her husband Pak Hunt Kwun, four children and seven grandchildren.</div>
