It is with great sadness the Chan Family announce the death of Harvey Yuk Chee Chan at the age of 95. He was pre-deceased by his wife Sally Wee-Shung Chan in 2014. He is survived by his children: Phillip (Tang), Freeman, Shirley (Maurice); grandchildren Christopher (Wendy), Catherine (Chris), Alana (Rob), Caralin (Chris), Bronx, and Dexter; great-grandchildren Ethan, Emma, Gunnar, Porter, Rip, Grayson, Brooklyn, Nova, Odessa, Isla, and Atticus. He will be sadly missed by his surviving siblings, nieces, and nephews.

Family, and friends will be received by the Chan Family at Pine Hills Cemetery at 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, Ontario on Friday, December 12th, 2025 between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM. The Funeral service at 10:00 AM will be live-streamed to those who want to participate, but are unable to attend. The link will be available on this memorial page at 9:45am. A recording of the service will be available on this website under Media (Videos) 1-2 days following the service date.

Harvey Yuk Chee Chan will be remembered for his dedication, diligence, generosity and commitment to family, and friends.
He was an Artist, Poet, and a calligrapher of very high standard.

Flowers can be sent to the Funeral Centre, though the family would prefer donations in Harvey's memory to be made by selecting one of the charities under the Donations tab at the top of the page or by selecting a charity of your choice.

The family has selected Heart & Stroke Foundation, University of Guelph, Humber River Health - Cardiology and Sunnybrook Hospital.
