York Man Poon, age 98, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026 at Kennedy Lodge Long Term Care Home.
Born on December 17, 1927 in China, York Man Poon is survived by his daughter Julisa Chiu (Walter Chiu), grandchildren, Jason Chiu (Fiona Koo), Bruce Chiu (Analyn Saupan), Christina Botelho (Michael Botelho), Allen Chiu (Alice Chiu) and Jonathan Chiu (Michelle Ngai) and many wonderful great grandchildren, Jack, Sophie, Isabelle, Justin, Brandon, Lucas, Katie, Madelyn, Kaia, Noah, Caleb and Emmett.
York Man Poon will be reunited with his wife Ying Hua Poon, who preceded him in death in 2003.
A funeral will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 9:30am at Elgin Mills Cemetary and Funeral Home.
York Man Poon will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family.
