Passed away peacefully after a long illness on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the age of 80.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jennifer Lee. Loving father of David (Helen), Margaret, Mary (Scott), Anthony (Gigi) and George (Carolynn).
Yip was born in China on April 15, 1934. He moved to Trinidad in 1948 and eventually settled down in Toronto, Canada on March 5, 1972.
Yip maintained life-long friendships with expat friends from Trinidad who also relocated to Toronto, Canada. He will be sadly miss by all his grandchildren, Alexander, Sarah, Samantha, Joshua, Kelsey, Zachary, Emily and Cassandra. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family across Canada and overseas.
The family is grateful for all the care and support provided by Markham Stouffville Hospital Palliative Care Unit and the extended community home care service providers, especially the staff from Saint Elizabeth Health Care Markham Ontario.
