Ying Ng, aged 90, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on Oct 20,1935 in China, she came to Canada (Golden Mountain-land of opportunity) as a young bride in the late 50’s where she started a family. Life threw many challenges, but she managed to fight and overcome each and everyone of them. She lived a long and hard life defined by unwavering devotion to those she loved
Ying’s greatest pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. She dedicated herself to raising three children and spent the early years of her retirement babysitting her grandchildren Matthew followed by Samantha. She always asked “How is Matthew? When is he coming home to visit?” She enjoyed the time he spent with her. She loved Samatha’s food especially through COVID. She loved the treats Katie and Kevin made like tiramisu, cinnamon buns, etc. Lastly, she loved spoiling Mookie the family dog with forbidden treats.
She is survived by:
Her 3 loving children: Nancy Ng Charron (Gary), Bing, Shirley Chong (Alex),
Cherished grandchildren: Matthew Charron, Samantha Charron, Katie Chong. Kevin Chong and Mookie
Loving Sister: Natividad Mifsud (Tony) & family; Patrick Mifsud (Anika) Layla& Sofia and Christopher
Loving Cousin: Margaret Chan & family; Jenny (Ed)
