It is with great sadness that we announce Woon Sim Wong passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026.

Born in the year of the snake in Guangdong, China, she endured many hardships at a young age, but her journeys eventually took her to Hong Kong and then to Ontario, Canada where she settled for almost 40 years. She was a loving mother-in-law to Elsie, grandmother to Anthony (Helen) and Rosanna (Gordon), and great-grandmother to Kyle, Cara, Helena and Amanda. She was pre-deceased by Shui Kwong Tsui.

She made a strong impact on many lives and has helped many people through her time. She was admired by those who knew her for her strong sense of tradition and family, and for her strength and resilience.

We are profoundly grateful for the time we shared with her and for memories that will continue to guide us. May she rest in peace.
