The eldest son of the late Francis Edward and Stella Fox of Matthew Street, Cobourg. Predeceased by brother Ross, Kenneth, sister Audrey and son Charles "Randy". Survived by his loving wife Joyce of 58 years and their children: daughters Bonnie Ogden (Don) of Brighton, Linda Kelly (Steve) of Toronto and son Ross (Lynne) of Bowmanville. Adored grandfather to Jeff Ogden (Tanya), Heather Vanderploeg (Darrold), Randall Gordon of Toronto, Marshall Gordon of Keswick and great-grandchildren Laryssa, Jaycee, Ana, Lilly and Audrey. Ed served in Merchant Marines and RCA Militia. He was one of the founding life members of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 617 since 1950. Ed retired in 1991 after 30 years service at Horizon Developments as Chief Engineer and Vice President of Special Projects. In 1973, Ed was named Engineer of the Year by the Institute of Power Engineers. Friends may call at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & VISITATION CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) for visitation on Thursday September 25, from 1-2 p.m. followed by a Service at 2 p.m.
