With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Wenancjusz Kostrzewa, a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a man whose strength, kindness, and unwavering work ethic shaped the lives of everyone who knew him. He passed away at the age of 92, leaving behind a legacy of resilience, generosity, and love.

Wenancjusz was born in Poland, where he grew up alongside his two sisters. His early years were marked by the hardships of World War II, an experience that forged in him a remarkable inner strength and a deep appreciation for family, freedom, and perseverance. Despite the challenges he faced, he carried himself with quiet dignity and a steadfast sense of responsibility that would guide him throughout his life.

After spending several years in Greece, Wenancjusz made a life-changing move to Canada in 1989, determined to build a better future for his family. Through hard work and sacrifice, he created a home filled with love, security, and the values he held dear. He was a man who never hesitated to lend a helping hand, always putting others first and going above and beyond to ensure his loved ones had what they needed.
