陈伟弟兄,生于1969年10月20日,中国福建省长乐市人。

1989年,年仅19岁的他怀着对未来的憧憬与勇气,自费赴加拿大留学。 开启了人生新的篇章。旅居海外三十余载,他在餐饮业中勤奋打 拼,足迹遍布多伦多,万锦及密西沙加的多家餐馆,以辛劳与坚持 书写着属于自己的人生。

2005年,二姐和她朋友在多伦多唐人街创业经营“满庭芳”餐馆。 面对创业初期的重重困难,陈伟弟兄挺身而出,倾力相助,陪伴并 扶持她们渡过最艰难的阶段,充分展现了他重情重义,勇于担当的 品格。

在亲友眼中,他为人豪爽真诚,重情重义,朋友众多:在家庭中, 他是一位疼爱妻,儿的丈夫,父亲,他一生用心生活,专注于自己 所热爱的工作与兴趣。

2016年,陈伟弟兄被诊断为大肠癌晚期,在教会弟兄姐妹们持续的 代祷中,在医生与药物的治疗下,也凭着他顽强的求生意志,他奇 迹般地与病魔抗争了九年多的时间,并亲眼见证了儿子成家立业, 了却了他一生最大的心愿。

在离世前一周,陈伟弟兄愿意认罪悔改,接受主耶穌基督,成为一 名基督徒。2026年1月4日,他安息主怀,息了世上的劳苦,但回 天家。

Brother Chen Wei

Born on October 20, 1969, is from Changle City, Fujian Province, China.

In 1989, at the young age of 19, filled with aspirations and courage for the future, he went to Canada to study at his own expense, beginning a new chapter in his life. Living abroad for over thirty years, he has worked diligently to establish his career in the restaurant industry, leaving his mark across in Toronto, Markham, and Mississauga. Through hard work and perseverance, he wrote a life story that was truly his own.

In 2005, his second sister and her friend started their own restaurant, "House of Gourmet" in Toronto's Chinatown. Despite numerous difficulties in the early stages of their business, Brother Chen Wei stepped forward without hesitation, standing by them and helping through their most challenging period. His actions reflected a man of deep loyalty, courage, and a strong sense of responsibility.

In the eyes of his relatives and many friends, he was generous, sincere and loyal. Within his family, he was a loving husband and father. Throughout his life, he lived with dedication, focusing on the work and interests he loved.

In 2016, Chen Wei was diagnosed with late-stage colorectal cancer. With the continued intercessory prayers of brothers and sisters in the church, together with medical treatment and medication, and supported by his strong will to live, he fought courageously against the illness for more than nine years. He was blessed to witness his son establish his own career and get married, fulfilling his greatest lifelong wish.

A week before his passing, Brother Chen Wei confessed his sins, repented, accepted the Lord Jesus Christ, and became a Christian. On January 4, 2026, he rested in the Lord's embrace, ending his earthly labours, and returned to his heavenly home.
