許李雲夫人 Wan Lee Hui
July 4, 1918 - April 25, 2015
Wan Lee Hui died peacefully at home in Toronto surrounded by family members, at the age of 96, on Saturday April 25, 2015.
Born on July 4, 1918 in Canton, China, she raised her children in Hong Kong and then later immigrated to Toronto, Canada to give her family the best possible opportunities available. She was married to Sai Oi Hui and was widowed in 1963. She was an intelligent, courageous and resourceful woman who took great pride in the raising and care of her family.
She is survived by her four children - Mei Hoken, Chi Lam Hui, Lowina Hui, and Don Hui, 10 grandchildren - Gifford Hoken, Joyce Chin, Clifford Hoken, Chris Hoken, Bonnie Hui Fong, Laura Ballingall, Alex Hui, Nicholas Hui, Karrie Hui and Samantha Hui, and 6 great-grandchildren - Ethan Chin, Kyra Chin, Tyler Fong, Rachel Fong, Zachary Chin and Haley Hui, all of whom live in Toronto or Seattle and will miss her dearly.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday April 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m at Pine Hills Cemetery and Visitation Centre in Toronto. Visitation starts at 9:00 a.m of the same day.
