<div itemprop="description">Our father, Mr. Van Vo Chau, 73, passed away peacefully at Toronto General Hospital on the evening of February 8, 2014 in Toronto, Ontario. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Thi Hoa Chau, his three daughters: Le, My, and Tu (Tiffany); his two sons: Son (Vincent) and Mark; his daughter-in-law, Jean, his son-in-law, Tai and 5 grandchildren: Jasmine, Trinity, Nicholas, Allyssa and Odin. <br /> <br />Traditional Buddhist prayers will begin at 4:00pm - 5:30pm on Thursday, February 13, 2014. A private visitation for family will follow from 5:30pm until 6:30pm. The public visitation will begin at 6:30pm until 9:00pm at Pines Hill Visitation Centre. Online condolences can be made through this website. <br /> <br />The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 14th and will begin with traditional Buddhist prayers at 8:30am - 9:30am; the family will be paying their final respects from 9:30am-10:00am and the blanket ceremony will follow. The funeral procession will begin at approximately 10:15am with the conclusion of the burial by 11:00am. Our family will then continue our prayers with the Buddhist monks at Hoa Ngiem Temple. <br /> <br />A reception will be held in our father's honour at 1:00pm on Friday, February 14th at Pearl Court Restaurant - 633 Gerrard St E, Toronto, ON M4M 1Y2. Please email tiffanychau@gmail.com by Thursday at noon, if you are able to join us. <br /> <br />Our family will be accepting flowers and online memorial donations to charities that are close and dear to our hearts: The Heart &amp; Stroke Foundation, The Lung Association and St. Michael's Hospital Foundation.
