<div itemprop="description">LUM, Vivian Irene (nee Eng) &ndash; (Longtime owner of Lum Bros. Fruit Market. Past <br />employee of the Toronto Board of Education and The Anglican Church House.) <br /> <br />Vivian passed away peacefully in the early evening of Sunday January 17, just 2 days short of her 78th birthday. She was the cherished wife of the late John Mon Sun Lum (July 1, 1927 &ndash; October 26, 2009). Devoted and loving mother of David (Nancy Van der Sluis) and Donna Hardy(Andre-Philippe). Doting Popo to Joshua and Emily. Vivian was predeceased by her brother Edward and sister Susan. She is survived by siblings May, Jean, Fran, Ian,Dorothy, and Nina. Vivian had a zest for life, along with a quick wit that was enjoyed by all and kept everyone on their toes. She shared a love of cooking with Johnny- <br />they especially loved to cook for family and friends. She will be dearly missed bythose whose lives she touched. Much appreciation and thanks goes out to the staffand friends at Fieldstone Commons Care Community, as they made her feel comfortable and at home. A service to commemorate Vivian&rsquo;s life will be held at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery Funeral Centre, 375 Mt. Pleasant Road, Toronto (east gate entrance north of St. Clair Ave., 416-485-5572) on Saturday January 23, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. Visitation between 1:00 and 3:00 P.M. A reception will follow at the Funeral Centre. Private cremation. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made the Arthritis Society. <br /></div>
