Vasilios A. Tsagarelis
October 2, 1945 - July 7, 2013
Vasilios (Bill) Tsagarelis passed away suddenly on July 7, 2013 just before 1am. Vasilios, a loving husband, father and grandfather lived in Scarborough with his wife Anastasia. He leaves behind his daughter and son, Eleni and Andreas including 5 granddaughters.
Vasilisos worked for many years as a truck driver before venturing into the restaurant business when he and his family acquired Café Demetres on the Kingsway. He could then be found making home made ice cream for the community, which he took much pride in as with all his activities. In addition to his ice cream creation prowess, Vasilios enjoyed hunting with his closest friends and a nice glass of wine with family.
His biggest joy was putting a smile on his granddaughters faces and helping others.
He will be missed.
