<div itemprop="description">Rennie, Valerie Dawn (nee Jones) - <br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The family of Val Rennie is deeply saddened at her passing on December 20, 2012.&nbsp; Taken at the age of 82 after a mercifully short illness.&nbsp; Val was the beloved wife of Walter Rennie for 57 wonderful years.&nbsp; Loving mother of Douglas (Edith), Laurence (Rose), and Fraser (predeceased).&nbsp; Val leaves behind ten much loved grandchildren and six great grandchildren.&nbsp; She will also be greatly missed by her cousin Joy McIntosh who was like a sister to her.&nbsp; Val was a long time member of Beta Sigma Phi ( Gamma Theta Master) and a volunteer for many charities.&nbsp; Cremation has taken place.&nbsp; Please join us for a celebration of Val's life Saturday, January 12th, 2013 at 2pm, which will be held at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 275 Lesmill Road., Toronto ( east off Leslie St., south of HWY 401, 416-441-1580)</div>
