Uroš Ćuk, aged 87, passed away peacefully at home on January 18, 2026.

Born on October 25, 1938, in Gračac, Former Republic of Yugoslavia, Uroš lived a long and meaningful life marked by dedication to family and quiet strength. He was a devoted husband to Ljubica, his wife of 55 years, and a loving father to his only daughter Alexandra (Christopher), who was the great pride of his life.

Uroš will be remembered for his kindness, integrity and wisdom, and for the steady presence he was to all those who knew him. A lifelong learner with a curious mind, he spent his later years doing the daily crossword and playing chess online for hours at a time. He was always eager to watch any sport that was on TV, but especially his beloved Leafs, Raptors and Đoković. He was lovingly known by all as true gentle giant and his legacy lives on in the lives he touched.

He is survived by his wife Ljubica and his daughter Alexandra. He will be greatly missed by his brother Sveto and all his relatives back home in Serbia. The family is grateful for the comfort of knowing he passed peacefully at home.
