Tung Yee Wong, dearest husband, father, and grandfather, died peacefully at the Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga, Ontario at the blessed age of 89 on March 2nd, 2026.

Tung Yee was born September 23, 1936 in Taishan, Guangdong (China) and was the eldest of four children. Tung Yee spent his childhood and early years split between Guangzhou and Hong Kong.

Tung Yee married in 1969 and relocated to Canada with his wife Siu Lee where they planted roots and shared a loving family of children and grandchildren. Tung Yee loved to eat, to cook and to experiment with recipes to make delicious savory dishes and desserts from scratch. He enjoyed fishing, reading, watching his favourite sports teams / events and maintaining his health with regular exercise.

Tung Yee was independent and had no fear of going where life took him and travelling wherever he needed in order to support his family. He was a hard worker and provided all he could for his loved ones throughout his life.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Siu Lee; their children Betty, Judy and James; and nine grandchildren.
