It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Huang Tien Yen, who left us peacefully the morning of April 11, with his son Paul by his side.

Huang Tien Yen will be remembered as a patient and selfless man. He was a husband and a dad first who had a voracious appetite for life, food and travel. His quiet strength was a source of inspiration to his family and touched the lives of those around him. He always put his family first, providing steadfast care and support throughout his life. He was a devoted grandfather who doted on his grandkids and took great pride in his children.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Hou Mei Ying. Their marriage has always felt like “faith”, a love that was simply meant to be, and one that lasted a lifetime. Their love was deep and enduring, and together they built a life rooted in devotion and partnership.

He is lovingly remembered by his children: Catherine (Philip), Christina (Michael), Peter, Caroline (Joseph), and Paul. He was a proud grandfather to Timothy (Mandy), Kevin, Rebecca (Rodrigo), Michelle, Leslie, Selena, Elena, Ethan, Alyssa, Emmeline, and Carissa. His legacy lives on through the many lives he shaped with his love and guidance.

He will be deeply missed beyond words and his memory will live on in the way his family and loved ones carry forward his legacy, honoured each day through the lives they lead in his memory.

黃天炎先生一生為人溫厚仁慈、無私奉獻，將永遠被親友銘記於心。他一生以家庭為重，是一位摯愛妻子的丈夫、關愛子女的父親，並對生活、美食與旅行充滿熱情。他內心而堅韌的力量深深啟發家人，也感動了身邊的每一位親友。他始終將家庭放在首位，一生中不懈地付出關懷與支持。他亦是一位慈愛的祖父，對子孫疼愛有加，並以子女為榮。

他身後留有結合58載的摯愛妻子侯梅英女士。兩人情深意篤，緣分天定，攜手走過人生歲月，相愛相守。他們的愛深厚而長久，共同建立了一個以愛與承諾為基石的家庭。

他亦由子女們深切懷念：Catherine（Philip）、Christina（Michael）、Peter、Caroline（Joseph）及Paul。作為祖父，他深 切愛子孫：Timothy（Mandy）、Kevin、Rebecca（Rodrigo）、Michelle、Leslie、Selena、Elena、Ethan、Alyssa、Emmeline及Carissa。他的精神與愛將透過他所影響的眾多生命延續長存。
