Theresa Frances “Fran” Yaneff
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of “Fran” on October 23, 2013 at the age of 80. Predeceased by her husband Alex in 1988, her parents Hazel and William and 11 siblings. She is survived by her brother Tom. She was a long standing volunteer, supporter, and fan of the Toronto Blue Jays. She was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, and her sister-in-law Aline. A friend to many and she will be missed by her Sunday morning breakfast club at Anthony’s in Don Mills. Friends will be received at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & VISITATION CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
