<div itemprop="description">Teresa Jane Kuhl passed away peacefully at St. Michael&rsquo;s Hospital on Tuesday January 21st , 2014, predeceased by her loving husband Frederick Henry Thury; parents Ervin F. and Margaret (Brady) Kuhl and sister Kathleen Ann. <br /> <br />She was born June 23rd, 1948 and raised in the small and mighty town of Templeton, Iowa. <br />After attending Kuemper High School and St. Teresa&rsquo;s College, Terri moved to New York City where she attended the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts. <br /> <br />Later migrating to Toronto, calling it home, she raised her family with Fred. <br /> <br />For the past 21 years Terri served as Corporate Administrator at Sussex Strategy Group in addition to being a passionate politico, compassionate friend and an avid patron of the arts. <br /> <br />This loving mother of Jennifer Alexis and Sara Meaghan, grandmother of Veda Jane and Fynn Henry, cousin of Jodi, Paul, Nikki and Eric, niece of Alice and Ruth, mother-in-law of Patrick and Kushwinder, honorary &ldquo;Thury Girl&rdquo; and friend to many will be missed. <br /> <br />Please join us on Friday January 24th at Mount Pleasant Visitation- 375 Mount Pleasant Road, East Gate Entrance between 4:30 pm &amp; 8:30 pm to share stories, laughter and friendship. The family requests in lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation to the York University Foundation (Fred Thury Award) or the Palliative Care Unit, St. Michael&rsquo;s Hospital, Toronto.
