It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Susan Young, age 54, who went home to be with God on December 26, 2025. She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by love.

Susan’s final moments were shared with her husband and children, as they prayed over her and held her hands. She left this world with the same grace, strength, and quiet faith that defined her life.

With a disarming smile that could light up a room, Susan was one of the kindest, sweetest, and most selfless souls anyone could know. She found joy in caring for others, and her warmth, generosity, and gentle spirit touched all who met her. She was deeply adored by her countless friends and large close-knit family.

Born in Toronto, Canada, Susan lived her entire life there, building a home filled with love, faith, and compassion. She was the devoted and loving wife of David, and a proud, loving mother to her son Griffen and daughter Kamryn, who were the center of her world. She was a cherished daughter to Quen Hong and Kwei Ying as well as one of five sisters (Shirley, Linda, Helen and Judy), sharing a lifelong bond of love, support, and friendship.

For the past two and a half years, Susan faced an aggressive and brutal cancer with extraordinary courage and determination. Her unwavering faith, resilience, and strength inspired everyone around her. Even in the most difficult moments, she showed hope, grace, and an unbreakable spirit.

Like a beacon of light, Susan’s legacy will continue to shine through the lives she touched and the love she gave so freely. She was truly one of a kind deeply loved, endlessly cherished, and impossible to replace.

Although she will be missed immensely, her family finds comfort in knowing this is not the end. Susan is now in God's loving embrace, and they hold onto the promise that they will see her again one day.
