<div itemprop="description">It is with great sorrow that her family announces the passing of Susan Elizabeth Miller (nee Palmer), in her 53rd year, at her home in Pickering on Friday January 29th, 2016. <br /> <br />Susan is survived and loved dearly by her two boys Zak (Nicole) and Brett Miller. Cherished sister of Scott (Nancy) Palmer and nephews Bradley and Matthew. Susan is also survived by her beloved step mother Tina Palmer, pre-deceased by her father Douglas Palmer and mother Marie Palmer. Susan will also be sincerely missed by a large network of family, friends and everyone she has touched throughout her life. <br /> <br />Susan was very devoted to her family and friends. She has been an active volunteer in the local community schools for a long period of time. Her greatest joy in life was being with her two boys and surrounded by family and friends. <br /> <br />A visitation will be held in Pickering at the Simple Alternative Funeral Centre on Tuesday February 2nd, 2016 from 6:00-9:00p.m. Funeral service will be held at the same location on Wednesday February 3rd, 2016. Visitation 10:00- 11:00 a.m., Service following at 11:00 a.m &ndash; 12:00 p.m., with burial to be held after the service. Following the burial there will be a reception back at the Simple Alternative Funeral Centre. <br /> <br />Susan&rsquo;s family would like to thank all of the staff and volunteers at the Ajax and Pickering Hospital for their amazing help and care. Family asks that all memorial donations be made to the Rouge Valley Health System or a charity of your choice. <br /></div>
