Susan Chow-Dukhan, a cherished wife, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 11, 2025, after a valiant battle with cancer.
Susan will be remembered by all who knew her for her tenacity, strength, and unwavering kindness. Thoughtful, intelligent, and deeply caring, Susan never forgot a birthday, a favorite treat, or a moment to remind those around her that they were loved in her own special way. She was an inspiration, proving through her own life that even when things weren't easy, there was always a way to succeed.
Susan was a woman of diverse passions. She was an avid reader, an impressive cross stitcher, and an amazing cook who always had a witty sense of humor. For 12 years, she was a dedicated and enthusiastic member of the private gym, LPS, where she was admired by the owner and training staff alike.
Throughout a working career that spanned over 40 years, Susan made her mark in the parking industry for the last 37. Before her retirement, she was highly regarded in her position as a Comptroller. She was considered to be a tough but fair boss and was immensely respected by her employees for her leadership and professionalism.
Susan was the loving wife of Roger Dukhan for 38 years and a devoted “mum” to her beloved cat, Mau Mau.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Sie Ying and Song Chow, and daughter-in-law of Sybil Dukhan. She leaves behind her brothers, John, Campbell, and Bruce, and their spouses, Kathy, Ching, and Jenny. She will also be missed by her brothers and sisters-in-law: Lindly, Gary, Candace, Wendy, and Clem.
Susan was an adored Aunt and Great-Aunt to her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, including Adam, Robin, Levi, Elliot, Jennifer, Mike, Dylan, Kiera, Simon, Kathyrn, Clare, Richard, Elouise, Bennett, Keana, and Anissa.
Susan will be cremated in a private ceremony and will be put to rest with her beloved Mau Mau in her favorite place in Lake of Bays, Ontario.
