It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Sunny Thengumkalyil Baby on August 6, 2026, in Ontario, Canada.

Sunny was a devoted man of faith whose love for God guided his life and touched all who knew him. He will be remembered for his unwavering faith, generous spirit, kind heart, and deep dedication to his family. His presence brought comfort, strength, and joy to those around him, and his legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him.

Sunny leaves behind his beloved wife, Suja Sunny, and his cherished children, Nissy Sunny and Steve Sunny. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Ayden, who brought him great happiness. He is also lovingly remembered by his siblings, Rosamma Phillip, Jainamma Scaria, and Shaji Kurian, along with many dear relatives, friends, and members of his faith community whose lives were enriched by his kindness and friendship.

Though his passing leaves a profound void, his family takes comfort in the memories they shared and in the faith that sustained him throughout his life.

Family and friends are invited to gather to honour and celebrate Sunny's life at a viewing and funeral service on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Meadowvale Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Centres, 7732 Mavis Road, Brampton, Ontario, L6Y 5L5.

Sunny's memory will be treasured forever by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace.
