Steve Foteu
November 10, 1924 - July 31, 2013
It is with great sorrow to announce the peaceful passing of Steve Foteu on July 31, 2013, in his 89th year. He leaves behind his beloved wife Mary (Efthimiades) of 59 years. Dearly loved father to Tom (Vicky) and Phyllis. Cherished Detho to Vanessa (Anthony) and Steven.
Steve will always be remembered for the kind and gentle soul that he was. He lived a true life of dignity and that alone leaves a wonderful legacy.
Rest well, your time on earth was worthwhile, you were a good man, a gentle man, and a gentleman.
The Parting Glass
Of all the money that I ever had,
I've spent it in good company,
And all the harm that ever I've done,
Alas it was to none but me.
Of all the comrades that ever I've known,
They're sorry for my going away,
And of all the sweethearts that ever I've known,
They'd wish me one more day to stay.
But since it falls unto my lot,
That I should rise and you should not,
I'll gently rise and softly call,
Goodnight and joy be with you all.
