Stephen Low-Sin (Sin Chung Ping) passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 14, 2026. Stephen was the loving husband of Sheila with whom he shared more than 68 wonderful years of marriage and friendship. Stephen's greatest joy was his family. He will be deeply missed by his children Anthony (Monica), Quan, Ying (Dave) and Mee Mee (Wayne). He took immense pride in being Goung-Goung to Cristi, Jason, Shane, James and Stephanie. Stephen was loved by his fur-babies Fifi, Happy, Jingles, Clover and Daisy.

Stephen was born in Canton, China, and immigrated to Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. then immigrated to New York, and finally to Ontario where he lived the rest of his fifty years as a very proud Canadian. Stephen was a shop owner and baker. He loved playing and teaching his grandchildren Mahjong, enjoyed baseball, basketball, fishing, swimming in ocean waters, cooking and baking for his family and family gatherings, gardening and walking with his wife and pets.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Elgin Mills Cemetery, Richmond Hill, Ontario. Visitation for family and friends will be from 1 to 2 p.m. with chapel service from to 2 to 3 p.m.

Following the service, Stephen will be cremated and a private family-only interment ceremony to follow at a later date.
