Stephen Charles Plumley
January 20, 1947 - March 24, 2016
I left the “Ballpark” on the morning of March 24, 2016. My sister was there to see me off and I am truly grateful for that. I have no regrets. I did the best I could with the time I had, putting as much effort into my volunteer work as I could. Many of my favourite times were spent with the Big Brothers Organization, the Starlight Children’s Wish Foundation, coaching the Special Olympics floor hockey champs, reading the Sports’ News for the CNIB, or helping children learn to read in a nearby TDSB school. Later I realized that I was needed to help raise funds to find the cure for Parkinson’s. My diagnosis challenged my efforts, but never my spirit. I am extremely thankful for the support of many friends and family members over the years. Remember, I loved you.
