曾葉秀慧夫人Sophia Sheu-Whei Tseng
November 25, 1948 - February 21, 2022
Sophia Sheu-Whei of Unionville, ON, wife of James Yun-Chuan Tseng, passed away suddenly on Family Day, Monday, February 21, 2022 at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto surrounded by loved ones.
She was the youngest daughter of the late K.C. Yeh and leaves to mourn with wonderful and loving memories, her mother, Chuan Yeh, her devoted husband of 45 years, James Yun-Chuan Tseng, her children, Ellen and Joanne. Loved by her grandchildren, Ava, Olivia and Anthony; sister, Lois (Hans) Huang, brothers, Charles (late Diana) Yeh, and Mawlin (Jillian) Yeh. Missed by her Aunt, nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends.
Sophia worked alongside her husband for 40 years where they operated their Optical empire, Eye Care Opticians, in Scarborough, ON. Besides her family, her loves were animals, gardening, artwork and medical research.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the paramedics, healthcare teams at Markham Stouffville Hospital and St. Michael’s hospital in Toronto. The compassion and love they showed for Sophia in her final days, along with the care for her family was beyond measure.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an animal rescue centre of choice or One Roof Kingston.
