It is with great sadness that the family of Sie-Chin Chow announces his passing on Monday October 20, 2025. He was 87 years old.
Born in Indonesia, he moved to Canada to raise his family and served a lifetime as a caring physician at Norfolk General Hospital in Simcoe, Ontario.
A beloved and devoted husband of Su Chen for almost 52 years until her passing, he will be dearly missed by his children Alvin, Gilbert (Trixy) and Judie (Andre).
He deeply cared for and was loved by his grandchildren Michael, Nicholas, Elijah and Nakaiyah.
He will be lovingly remembered by all his family and friends.
Visitation to be held at York Cemetery Funeral Centre, 160 Beecroft Rd., North York on Friday October 31 from 4-7 pm and Saturday November 1 from 1-2 pm. Prayer service to be held at Shepard Hall, York Cemetery Funeral Centre at 2:00 pm followed by interment with reception to follow at Legend Chinese Restaurant, 5 Cameron Rd., Thornhill.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
