<div itemprop="description"> <p> <b> LaGrandeur, Shirley (nee Driscoll) </b> </p> <p> After a long, hard fought battle with cancer, Mom passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, February 9th, 2013.&nbsp; Mom was only 77 and ready for so much more.&nbsp; She is predeceased by her husband Bill LaGrandeur Sr.&nbsp; Mom was loved by and devoted to her children Carol (Bob Bartlett), Billy LaGrandeur Jr. and Paul (Anna) LaGrandeur.&nbsp; Mom cherished her grandson Rob (Cherish) Bartlett and loved being &ldquo;GG&rdquo; to Sydney and Ben.&nbsp; Mom will be missed by her brother Joey (Gail), her cousin Lynn (Ralph) and best friend Marge (Frank).&nbsp; God needed a soul with a really big heart so he called her home.&nbsp; Mom join&rsquo;s dad and together they will celebrate their 58th wedding anniversary this Tuesday, February 12th.&nbsp; We would like to thank all of the staff at Lakeridge Health &ndash; Oshawa (Palliative Unit) for their care and compassion.&nbsp; Family and friends may call on Monday, February 11th, 2013 from 4 pm until 8 pm at THE SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE, 1057 Brock Rd, Pickering, 905-686-5589.
