Sherry Lynn Lennips (nee Powell), born in Black Cape, Quebec... (God's Country) on September 21, 1951, passed away peacefully at home on November 13, 2025. She was reunited with her parents Robert Leslie Powell and Dora Winnifred Campbell Powell, along with her most beloved spouse G. John Lennips and her sisters, Lenette Powell Flowers and Roberta Healey who were all fast tracked to heaven because .... What did doctors know?
Proud mother to her greatest achievement, her most cherished son John. Earthly Mom to her niece, Jeanette Lennips and her nephew Justin Flowers. Sister to Roberta (#1 Sister deceased) (Jim), Garth (Fearless and Long Suffering) (Irene, deceased), Delena (Our Queen) (predeceased Denis), Karen (Lady of the Lake), (predeceased Gary), Marlene (Sister-Who-Taught-Sherry-Most-of-the-Things-She-Knew). Beloved Auntie to the BEST nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews in the world. Blessed with a loving family, in-laws plus an abundance of loving friends.
Still Sherry, Sherry still could be, well, Quite Contrary (as coined by her long suffering mother).... At the end is the beginning and Sherry achieved her greatest wishes to be able to work with employees from all different countries in the world through her Human Resources Manager position at Maple Stamping and Mid Point (divisions of Magna International Inc.) and be reunited with dear cutting edge miraculous mother and father (who solely made her believe in Santa Claus, The Tooth Fairy and Peter Rabbit), loving husband (who kept his finger in the dike while wearing wooden shoes), and her sweet little sisters Lenette, (Sherry's Itty Bitty Tearie Dearie) who until the end of time pushed herself to the front of the line, managing to beat all her older siblings to the Pearly Gates (our winner to the end) as well as her eldest No. 1 Sister, Roberta Healey.
