It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Sharon on March 31st, 2012 at the age of 51, after a short but intense seven-month battle with cancer. Sharon leaves behind her loving husband Henry, daughter Kayla and son Taylor. Sharon is also survived by her sister Debbie, her brother Stephen, her aunt Shirley, her uncle Tom and several cousins. An avid gardener, Sharon spent many hours in her gardens, with neighbours and strangers constantly stopping by to compliment. With a passion for traveling, Sharon spent her time planning trips for the family. Over the years Sharon and her family traveled to both the west and the east coasts of Canada, Florida, Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, St. Lucia, Mexico, Greece, Turkey, San Marino, Hawaii, Paris, London, Egypt, Croatia, Slovenia, and her favourite, Italy. The family would like to thank the compassionate nurses and doctors at Princess Margaret and Toronto General, as they’ve cared for Sharon these last couple months. We would also like to thank all the partners and staff at Bousfield’s, Sharon’s second family, for all the support and love they provided. The care packages and visits gave Sharon a terrific morale boost- special thanks to Lindsay and Frank for all that you did, we are forever grateful. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 5th from 12pm-2pm at the Mount Pleasant Visitation Centre. A memorial in celebration of Sharon’s life is set for Monday April 9th at Lambton Golf and Country Club, from 1pm-4pm. Please see memorial service details below.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation - please see link on donations tab.

Condolence messages may be placed on the guestbook page.
