It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Ajoba on October 25th, 2015. Ajoba was born in Dhandarful, India on March 25th, 1933 and immigrated to Canada in the spring of 1968 with his wife and three young boys. He was extraordinarily proud of his Indian heritage but also had a deep love for his adopted home.

Ajoba is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 56 years, Vijaya, who never left his side throughout the successes and challenges of his accomplished life. He is also survived by his three devoted sons, Nitin, Nish, and Upen, and loving daughter-in-laws, Priti and Anita. His seven beautiful grandchildren – Neel, Jai, Mahika, Rohun, Maya, Anahita, and Devin, will dearly miss him. They adored their Ajoba, his infectious smile, and everlasting love for his family. He is lovingly remembered by his many special friends and relatives in India, Canada and the United States -- he left an indelible mark on all of those who had the chance to meet him.

Ajoba had many great loves in life – food, cricket, and teaching to name a few. However, not one could ever match the love he had for his wife and family. He worked tirelessly to ensure that his boys would not only be well educated, but more importantly men of the highest integrity. He sacrificed everything for his family and never asked for anything in return. He was the epitome of a selfless, honest and caring man with an unwavering moral compass dialed to true north. Ajoba woke up every morning with a smile on his face, and recognized that every day was precious. He was thankful.

“God is Great, God bless everybody, Hari Om Tassat”, was his mantra. We love and miss Ajoba very much.
