It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Severino De Donato on March 23, 2026.
Severino was born in San Severo, Puglia, Italy, and carried with him a deep appreciation for his heritage throughout his life. He was a devoted and loving husband to his beloved wife, Teresa, with whom he shared 61 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life grounded in love, dedication, and family.
A hardworking man, Severino took great pride in providing for his family and leading by example. His strength, resilience, and unwavering commitment were evident in everything he did. Above all, he was a devoted father to his sons, Paolo and Tony, whom he loved deeply.
Severino found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He was a passionate soccer fan and faithfully followed his favorite team, Napoli, cheering them on with enthusiasm. He also enjoyed playing cards and spending quiet time solving crossword puzzles, a reflection of his sharp mind and pensive nature.
He is now lovingly reunited with his parents, Corrado and Maria, and his siblings Antonio, Rino (Nazario), Giuseppe, and Ninetta. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his brother Lucio.
He will be remembered for his kindness, loyalty, and the deep love he shared with his family. His presence was a constant source of comfort and strength, and his legacy will live on through those who knew and loved him.
Severino will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his loving wife Teresa; his sons Paolo and his wife Kim, and Tony and his wife Carol; and his cherished grandchildren, Micheal, Kaila, Diandra, Christian, Sebastian, Xavier, and Roman; along with all who had the privilege of knowing him.
All are welcome to join the family in a celebration of life, which will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Pine Hills Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Toronto, Ontario.
