<div itemprop="description">Santina Trisi (nee Cimini)<br />May 8, 1924 &ndash; September 14, 2014<br /> <br />It is with profound sorrow that we mourn the peaceful passing of Santina Trisi in her 90th year on September 14, 2014. Predeceased by her husband Francesco, she will be greatly missed by her children Alfie (Asia) and Luisa (Leo), by her grandchildren Luca and Camilla, and by her extended family.<br /> <br />Santina was a generous person whose grace was matched only by her intelligence and poise. Over 54 years, she built a rich life for herself and her family in Canada, and to her children she imparted a deep love and appreciation of Italy, its language and its culture. Her birthplace of San Benedetto dei Marsi (AQ) remained close to her heart always. <br /> <br />Friends are welcome at Mt. Pleasant Visitation Centre, 375 Mount Pleasant Road, East Gate Entrance, Tuesday, September 16, 4 - 8 PM. Funeral mass will take place on Wednesday September 17 at 9:30 AM, Holy Rosary Church, 354 St. Clair Ave W (east of Bathurst). Burial to follow at Prospect Cemetery. <br /> <br />Heartfelt thanks to the staff and nurses at Villa Leonardo Gambin. If desired, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer&rsquo;s Society of Ontario. <br /><br /></div>
