In memory of

Sandra Jean Arthurs

April 17, 1956 - August 7, 2026

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Sandi Arthurs in her 71st year.

Sandi leaves behind her daughter Natasha and her grandson Hunter. She will be greatly missed by her four brothers and their wives Gary (Maureen), Brian (Donna), Wayne (Katherine) and D’Arcy (Sarah). Sandi was the loving Aunt to Steven (Jennifer), Michelle (Wayne), Somer (Christopher), Matthew (Diana), Darcy (Sylvie), Whitney (Tyler), Emily (Keith) and Isabel as well as eleven great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Norman and Jean.

Sandi was born in Toronto and grew up in Etobicoke and Mississauga and attended Queens University, earning an Hons. B.A. (1978) as well as graduating from Dalhousie University with an MBA (1986). Sandi started her career in publishing working as editor at her father’s publishing company, Arthurs Publications, eventually branching out to establish her own successful publishing business. Before retiring in 2024, she spent several years as a property manager.

She will be missed by her circle of friends in Guelph, many from her days of curling, skiing and golfing. We will all miss her laughter and joyful way.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life is planned for a future date.

Donations in her memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Woodlawn Memorial Park in Guelph.
