<div itemprop="description">Ruth died suddenly at home, October 19, 2015, at age 82. She was the devoted wife of Alexander (Sandy) Webster. Together, they quietly marked their 56th wedding anniversary October 17, 2015. Survived and lovingly remembered by her husband, her oldest son Bruce, daughter-in-law Sandy, grandchildren Ben and Sarah, daughter Gail, youngest son Craig, daughter&ndash;in-law Jennifer and grandchildren Liam and Jeremy. Ruth is survived by her sister Fran Boyd and fondly remembered by many members of her extended family. Ruth worked for many years in administrative capacities, most notably for the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and at the National Bah&aacute;&rsquo;i Centre of Canada. She was a very active and dedicated member of the Bah&aacute;&rsquo;i faith, serving as Secretary of the Toronto Local Spiritual Assembly for many years, and working on many committees, including the Care and Teaching committees. A highlight of her spiritual life was an uplifting pilgrimage with her husband to Haifa. Ruth loved her neighbourhood for 56 years, and enjoyed many community activities there. Some favourites were line dancing, euchre, chat-n-chew, community dinners and events. She particularly appreciated the warm support of her neighbours, new and old. Visitation will be held at PINE HILLS VISITATION CENTRE 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough on Sunday, October 25th from 2 &ndash; 4pm. The Funeral will be held on Monday October 26th at 11am with a reception to follow. Donations are gratefully accepted to Neighbourhood Link Support Services Adult Day Program. This wonderful program assisted Ruth and Sandy to remain together in their own home, for which Ruth had tremendous gratitude. She will be sorely missed.</div>
