Ruth Bode (nee Krischke) passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2026 at the Village of Taunton Mills long-term care home. Ruth was predeceased by her mother, Dorothea, and father, Johannes Krischke of Germany. Immigrated to Ottawa, Canada in 1960. Wife of Hans Bode for 65 years. Beloved mother to Marion (Ray) and Michael. Beloved Granny of Bryan, Daniel, and Michaella. Ruth loved her family, nature, flowers, and birds. Ruth will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
