Rupert Penzinger
July 5, 1923 - April 29, 2015
Rupert Josef Penzinger, born July 5, 1923, passed away peacefully at Providence Villa on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 of natural causes. He was 91 years old. His son Rupert and daughter Sonya were at his side during his passing.
Rupert was born in Steyr, Austria. He was the oldest child of Rupert and Elisabeth. Rupert and his Family emigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1954, working most of his longstanding career as a Machinist.
Rupert is the husband of the late Margarete, father of Rupert and wife Claudine, and daughter Sonya and late husband Roger. Grandfather to Rupe and wife Kelly, Tara, Molly, Kristi and spouse Chris, Brandon and wife Mariya; and Trevor and spouse Kate. Great Grandfather to Chancely, Emma, Lilly, Enden, Romy, Piper, Amelia, Marcus, River, Wesley and Kyland. Rupert also included Rick, Simon, Jenn, Shayne, Jaden and Shiloh as part of his Family.
Rupert was always very friendly, and liked by everyone. He was thankful and grateful to all who assisted him, especially in his latter years.
To the Family, Rupert was a kind, loving and generous man. Our Dad / Opa / Big Opa will be sorely missed but live on in our hearts forever. He was most proud of his close knit Family.
The Family would like to thank the staff of Providence Villa, who made his final days extremely comfortable and pain free. The staff are very professional, friendly, compassionate and caring. We would also like to thank the staff of Pickering Parkway, who went over and above the call of duty looking after our Dad in the three and a half years he called the residence his home. He was happy there.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
