Rudy Joseph Fliegl, aged 88, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025, at Bendale Acres long-term care home in Scarborough, Ontario.

Born in Hamilton, Ontario, to Ethel and Joseph Fliegl. Rudy will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Anna Lee Fliegl with whom he shared 25 wonderful years of marriage.

Predeceased by both his parents; daughter Laura Jane Fliegl; brother John Joseph Fliegl; brother Herb Fliegl and sister Lillian Keen.

Rudy was deeply loved, and his warm smile and infectious sense of humour will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rudy was a professional chemical engineer who dedicated his career to occupational health and safety, working across both the public and private sectors. He had a deep love for his cats and a wide range of interests, including reading, music, telecommunications, and genealogy.

In memory of Rudy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Toronto or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
