MORGAN, ROY –
Born May 11, 1928 in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania and entered into rest at Uxbridge Cottage Hospital on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at age 84. Son of the late Daniel Morgan born in Wales and Clarice (Horridge) born in England and predeceased by brothers, Earl, Jon, George and David. Roy will live on in the hearts of his dear wife Irene of 48 years, daughter Clairann, son Barry, brother Danny and grandsons Geoffrey and Jacob. His humor and kindness will be remembered by many friends and family including sister-in-laws Doreen and Sheila. Roy was a long-time resident of Whitchurch-Stouffville where he and his wife owned and operated Morgan Jewellers. Roy was a Goldsmith and Gemologist. Over the years Roy was affiliated with the Toronto Board of Trade, Order of the Eastern Star, DeMolay for Boys, Rainbow for Girls, Masonic Lodge, Rameses Shrine and Drum Corps. A celebration of Roy’s life will take place on Saturday, September 8th at the Pine Hills Cemetery Visitation Chapel and Reception Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (416-267-8229).
