Ronnie Hilary Henderson (Jennings) passed away peacefully at North York General Hospital. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 62 years, Brian Henderson; her two children and spouses, Gillian (Jonathan Medline) and Bruce (Katherine Lundy); and grandchildren, Cooper, Campbell, Beatrice and Tallulah.

Born in Perth, Western Australia to parents Cyril and Gladwys Jennings, she moved to Canada after meeting Brian. She had three careers starting as a teacher, guidance counsellor, and social worker with a teaching degree and graduate degree in Psychology (University of Western Australia) and a degree in Social Work (Memorial University, Newfoundland).

Retiring as a Senior Social Work Supervisor from the Children’s Aid Society, she devoted her career to helping children and young adults.

A true adventurer, she lived in London (UK) and Montreal on her own and in Toronto, St. John’s (Nfld), and La Paz (Bolivia) with her family – not to mention countless trips throughout the world with Brian – making friends everywhere she went.

A service will be held on Saturday December 13, 2025, at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre, 375 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto, ON (416) 485-5572. Visitation at 11am with service at 12pm and reception to follow. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Children's Aid Foundation of Canada.
