We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of
Ronald Phillip Campbell on April 29, 2026, surrounded by some of the people he loved most.
Ron is survived by his beloved wife and companion of 44 years, Kim , the love of his life and his partner through everything. Together they built a life centered on love, loyalty, laughter, and family. Their marriage was an example of commitment and friendship, and the life they built together is a legacy.
He was a proud and loving father to Kyle (Leigha), Shannon and Connor (Antonia). He loved his children deeply, and he was always there — steady, dependable, and caring. He leaves them full of love and gratitude for the extraordinary years they shared with him
One of Ron's greatest joys came later in life-- becoming Grandpa to James and Ada. Oh, how he loved them.
Ron was a loving brother to Susan (Bob), and Sandra , and a dear brother-in-law to Chris and Delynn. He was a proud Uncle to his nieces, nephews, and great-nephews, and a cherished cousin. He also leaves behind Walter and many wonderful friends. Family and close friends meant everything to Ron, and he made sure the people he loved knew they were cared for.
That was who Ron was at his core: caring, generous, and deeply devoted to his family. He had a way of making people feel welcome and cared for, whether through his quiet support, his sense of humor, or simply by making room for them at his table.
And if you were lucky enough to have a seat at Ron’s table, you knew you were in for something special. Ron was a phenomenal cook. He poured love into every meal he made, bringing people together the way only great food can. His kitchen was a place of laughter, stories, and usually a good beer or glass of wine, or two close at hand.
Ron also loved his sports — and anyone who knew him knew there was no bigger, more loyal Toronto Maple Leafs fan. Through every win, every loss, every heartbreak, he stayed faithful. Year after year, he believed this would be the year. That kind of loyalty said a lot about who he was.
He appreciated life’s simple pleasures: family gathered close, good food, a glass of wine, a hockey game on TV, and time spent with the people who mattered most.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we are so grateful to have had him — as a husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
Ron, you were deeply loved, and you will be deeply missed. Your place at the table will always be yours, and your memory will live on in every story shared, every meal made with love, every Leafs game watched with hope, and every moment your family holds each other close.
