In memory of

Rocco Agostino

August 29, 1946 -  December 3, 2025

Rocco Agostino, age 79 passed away on December 3, 2025 at Scarborough Grace Hospital. Rocco was born August 29, 1946 in Calabria, Italy. He worked at General Motors for many years, starting in Scarborough and moving to the Oshawa plant where he retired. He enjoyed time at his trailer, fishing, kayaking, and most importantly socializing. He was devoted to his family and worked hard so his children had everything they needed. This love and devotion continued as he cared for and played with his granddaughters. They have fond memories of grandpa taking them to parks, McDonald’s playplaces, time spent at the trailer, trick-or-treating, skating and tobogganing. Rocco always told them he loved them and will continue to do so from heaven.
Rocco is survived by his loving children Lora (Dave), Debbie (Colin), and Steven; his precious grandchildren Emily, Amaya, Robyn and Isabella; his brothers Bert (Wendy) and Tino (Nancy); his sisters-in-laws Patti, Gail, Judy and many other family members including his wonderful nieces and nephews.
Rocco was predeceased by his beloved wife Barbara, parents Stefano & Angela, parents-in-laws Lida & Fred, brothers Frank, Joe, and Santo; sisters Kathy and Amie.
We miss him deeply but his example of living and loving with a big heart will always remain with us.
