Robert W. Dean
November 24, 1929 - April 13, 2015
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Dean on April 13, 2015 at the age of 85, following a lengthy illness.
He leaves behind his loving wife Eleanor (Kennedy) of 58 years. Son George (late wife Theresa) (Diane), son Jim (Geraldine) and daughter Sue. Also, loving Grandchildren, Tyler, Alex, Greg and Amy.
Bob was born and grew up in Toronto and raised his family in Streetsville.
He spent over 45 very successful years, sales managing in the Automotive Aftermarket where he took great pride as chairman of the annual Automotive Booster Club's Millionaire's Night that gave so many war veterans such great joy while living at Sunnybrook Hospital for so many years.
Bob enjoyed summer vacations with family at Sparrow Lake, Washago and Muskoka, as well as winters at their summer home in Dunedin, Florida cheering on the spring training of the Toronto Blue Jays in his retirement.
As an alternative to sending flowers, please consider donations to the Credit Valley Hospital Heart Function Clinic.
