It is with a heavy heart that we announce the recent passing of Robert John Speirs on April 16, 2026 at the age of 83.

Robert is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Sylvia, his son Bill (Tracey), his grandson Michael (Desiray), his great granddaughters Adley and Summer, and his sister Margaret. He will be missed by all, including his nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to the nurses, staff, and volunteers at Carpenter House who treated Robert and his family with such compassion, dignity, and respect while he was in their care.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to Carpenter House, Burlington would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
