Robert Balls

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Balls announces his passing after a short but courageous battle with bladder cancer. Robert passed away peacefully at William Osler Health Center on August 30th.

He is predeceased by his beloved parents, Yvonne and Reginald Balls. Robert will be deeply missed by his brothers Geophrey and Stephen (Kimberley) Balls, and his sister Catherine Diveronica. He was a proud and loving uncle to Matthew Ball, Leanna (née Diveronica) (Michael) Zasadny, Joseph (Cassandra) Diveronica, and Gianpiero (Giselle) Diveronica, Great Uncle to Brooklynn. Luca, Ariella, Joshua, Imela, Mateo, all of whom will remember him with love and gratitude.

Robert will be remembered for his kindness, quiet strength, and devotion to his Catholic faith. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the medical staff and caregivers at Westside Long-Term Care Home who supported Robert during his illness.

A memorial service will be held in his honor on Saturday, Sept 13th at A Simple Alternative in Mississauga. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society.
