Robert "Bob" Kerr
April 13, 1935 - May 8, 2013
Passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, after a long battle with emphysema and COPD in his 79th year. Loving husband and best friend of Audrey and the late Helen (1997). Beloved father and hero to Bradley, Karen (Stephen) Fink and the late K.C. (1987). Loving grandfather to Braydan and Liam. He will also be greatly missed by his extended family and many friends and golf partners.
Bob was very proud of his accomplishments in his professional life, including working on the AVRO arrow followed by over 30 years working at Canada Packers, St. Clair location, it was however volunteering after retirement where he truly found his passion, Bob will be greatly missed by all the people he supported through AA and other community support services.
Family and Friends may call at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 1535 South Gateway Rd., Mississauga (Dixie Rd., 2 lights south of Eglinton Ave., 905-602-1580) on Monday, May 13, 2013 from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. with a Celebration of Life in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Private Cremation. Given Bob’s giving spirit, in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Salvation Army and the Canadian Lung Association.
