<div itemprop="description">Passed away peacefully on February 23, 2015 at Scarborough General Hospital at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Gertrude. Cherished father of Monika (Brian) and Peter (Susan). Loving grandfather of Chris (Jennifer), Michelle (Justin) and Nathan. Proud great-grandfather of Ella, Farrah and Lydia. Werner will be dearly missed by his sister Rosemarie and extended family members in Germany. Family and friends will be received at Pine Hills Visitation Centre (625 Birchmount Rd., north of St. Clair Ave. E., Scarborough, 416-267-8229) on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 from 10-11 am. Funeral service will be held at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. <br /></div>
