With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Rica De Los Reyes Enriquez on Friday, June 26th, 2026, at the age of 80. A devoted wife of Jun Enriquez for over 44 years and a second mother to Anthony (Rowena) and Marian (Mildred). A proud grandmother to Roann (Michal), Adam, and Angeline and a great-grandmother to Iris. Rica is also missed dearly by her siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Born in GuaGua, Philippines, Rica was the third oldest of nine siblings. After graduating from Philippine Normal College, she became a school teacher and taught at Andres Bonifacio Elementary School. While working in Manila, Rica was introduced to Jun, the brother of one of her former classmates. Jun sponsored her to immigrate to Canada and they were married on May 29th, 1982. After moving to Toronto, she worked at Manulife, acting as a mentor to her younger colleagues, until she retired.


As a devout Catholic, Rica was an active member of her church, generously donating her time and money to various initiatives. While caring for her husband, she enjoyed reading novels, taking care of her plants, and spending time with family. We are comforted knowing that her memory will live on in the lives of those she loved.
