<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Walt, Beloved Husband of Eva, Loving Father of Matthew, Lindsay, and Christopher, devoted son of Frank and Ann Hearn and brother of Frank, Mary, and Barbara. Walt was also a fun loving uncle to his nieces and nephews. He was an admired son-in-law of Rita and Gerry Dolan and brother-in-law to Keith, Cathy, Theresa, Arlene, and Shamus. After an 18-month battle with cancer, Walt passed on at home, peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by his loved ones. Walt was a faithful servant of the Lord as he led his congregation of Willowdale Presbyterian Church for more than 18 years. Walt will be dearly missed for his kindness, generous spirit, integrity, sense of humour, and devotion to others. Walt lived for times spent with Eva, Matthew, Lindsay, and Christopher. He never missed an opportunity to say an &ldquo;I love you,&rdquo; offer a listening ear, and an encouraging word. While his body may have failed him, his faith never did! <br /> <br />&ldquo;Come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.&rdquo; <br />-Matthew 11:28 <br /> <br /> In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Canadian Bible Society, Evangel Hall Mission, The Scott Mission, and The Canadian Cancer Society. <br /></div>
